Ethoxy Propanol is also known as Arcosolv PE, Ethyl Proxitol, Propylene Glycol Ether and Propylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether. The ether presents itself in a fluid state and has an ether-like smell. It is a solvent for various materials, as it is miscible with water and is hygroscopic. The formula for EP is C5H12O2.
Ethyl Proxitol is mostly used in the coating of surfaces and the printing industry. EP can balance the flow, coalescence, and levelling, making the compound perfect for flexographic printing inks and surface coating and water-based paints.
